You are going to hire a captain to take your family on a boat trip.  You meet a captain that is incredibly friendly, so without any questions, you hire him.  Unfortunately, while in the middle of the ocean, you encounter rough seas, only then to find out that your captain is inexperienced.  Even worse, it is far too late to turn around and get a new captain.
